International Workshop on the Frontiers of

Computational Geodynamics

July 3-4, 2016, Beijing

Sponsored and hosted by the Key Laboratory of Computational Geodynamics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the International Workshop on the Frontiers of Computational Geodynamics (WFCG) annual workshop series has been successively held since 2004, attracting scientists from China and all over the world.  While the focus of this year’s workshop will continue to be on geodynamic computing, we invite contributions from all fields of theoretical and observational geophysics and computational mathematics. Topics on other aspects of earth sciences are also welcome.

The official language of the workshop is English. International participants are waived of the registration fee, which covers meals and refreshments during the meeting. Limited support for lodging will be provided to international participants if needed. The meeting will be held at the University of Chinese Academy of Science’s Yuquanlu campus, which is conveniently located near downtown Beijing, 15 minutes from the Tiananmen Square by subway and 50 minutes from the Beijing International Airport.
