On the 9th and 10th of June, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) held the 2011 Meeting of CAS Senior International Scientists and Young Fellows in Beijing. More than one hundred scientists participated, following welcome remarks by the President of the Academy of Sciences, Prof. Chunli Bai.
Professors Dave Yuen and Yves M. Leroy from Key Laboratory of Computational Geodynamics, CAS attended the meeting. They explained progress in their respective research field and then expressed their individual views concerning how to reinforce the outcome of the CAS initiative.
