This section aims at studying global and regional co-/post-seismic deformations. To develop dislocation theory for three dimensional media earth models, to compute global displacement, strain, geopotential, gravity and geoid changes caused by large earthquakes, and to provide theoretical foundation for investigating inner structure, fault slip parameters, seismic mechanism, as well as the process and interpretation of geodetic data. To apply GPS/InSAR and satellite gravity missions GRACE/GOCE in studying global gravity recovery and gravity changes caused by tectonic movement, volcano eruption, seismic activity, ice melting and environment changes. To study strong ground motion and seismic hazards using seismic and geodetic data.
