 | The eight-day “ICCES International Training Workshop on Asian Monsoon Variability and Predictability”, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and TWAS and organized by the International Center for Climate and Environment Sciences (ICCES), was held in Beijing on 6-15 July 2014. Young scientists from 10 nations from the south of India to the northern reach of East Asia visited the LCG-CAS on July 11, 2014. Prof. Huai Zhang, Executive Vice Director of the LCG-CAS, gave an introduction on the LCG-CAS.
Organized by the ICCES, the International Training Workshop was held every year, aiming at providing training and education to young scientists from the developing world with a focus on key challenges and areas of practical need.
